Which Self Defense Weapon is right for me?

in Stun

If you haven't thought about getting yourself a self defense weapon maybe now is the time to start getting serious about your protection.  Being out and about these days can be hazardous to your health so it's no wonder more and more people are becoming pro-active and purchasing self defense tools.  Every time we step outside our homes we become victims of a possible attack.  Our homes aren't even a safe haven today.  With this being said, it's crucial that we also take action in protecting our homes as well.  Although both sexes are at risk of being attacked women are at a much higher risk rate.

For some of you who remember the good ole days where you could leave your doors unlocked, walk down the street and not feel any fear of something bad happening. Unfortunately those days are long gone and criminal activity is everywhere.  It doesn't matter where you live any more, criminals have branched out to all areas, waiting for their next victim or home to terrorize.  The smartest decision you can make is to purchase yourself and those you love self defense weapons so you are prepared in the event something should happen to you.

Less-lethal weapons are the wisest choice in protection as they will only temporarily take out a potential attacker.  No permanent damage or possible deaths will occur; therefore you need not worry on whether or not you are harming someone. Most good citizens will take this into consideration when defending themselves as it's not in their nature to harm.  Utilizing these types of weaponry can put your mind to rest and at the same time give you the necessary protection you need.

Self defense weapons come in many styles and forms.  There are pepper sprays, stun guns, taser guns, personal alarms and so much more.  Stun guns along with pepper spray seem to be the most popular for women.  Stun guns deliver an electrical shock to the attacker.  It usually just affects the area of the body that was shocked and lasts for approximately 10 minutes.  The attacker has minimal harm done and yet you will have enough time to get to safety.

These are very effective weapons.  Stun guns also come in disguisable styles all of which are very compact and easily carried.  Lipstick Stun guns come with 950,000 volts of power yet they are only 3" tall!  You can put them in your jean pocket!  The PRETENDER stun gun with an impressive 4.5 Million Volts is another great item.  This stun gun looks just like a cell phone, you can have this in your hand and no one would be the wiser!

The smaller stun gun styles are designed for women use as you can carry them in your purse or pocket.  The best choice you can make is to have it with you at all times and readily accessible in the event you should need to use it.  Hesitation in using your weapon is not an option.  You must be willing to stun your attacker like its second nature.  Remember, it's you or them.

Always check with your local and state laws prior to purchasing a self defense weapon.  Not all cities and states have the same laws pertaining to the carrying of these devices.

In closing let me state.  Make sure when purchasing self defense weapons that you think about which type is right for you.  There are no other weapons on the market today that are as safe, reliable and affordable as these!
